U CAN HATCH US a West Australian company now has a new owner, Rhonda Barbut.

Rhonda is passionate about animals and education, one of her main priorities is to present information to the public and school children to help raise awareness of animal welfare issues and to encourage free range farm practices for chickens and other livestock.

Rhonda brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the company.

• Over 20 years of experience working with a large range of native and exotic mammals and birds, reptiles, birds of prey, companion and farm animals
  
  
• Over 15 years as a zoo keeper working with a variety of animals in Australia, Singapore, Channel Islands, Greece, South Africa and the UK
  
  
• Vet nurse assistant, assisting vets in surgery and out in the field on farm and house visits.
  
  
• Strong background in conservation, making active contributions to Black Cockatoos, Turtles, Penguins, Numbats and other conservation programmes
  
  
• Experienced wildlife carer, hand raising many animals from native kangaroos, possums, parrots to flamingos, hedgehogs and penguins
  
  
• Great network of people within the animal field and has worked closely with RSPCA inspectors and DEC Wildlife Officers
  
  
• Family farming background, poultry, horses, sheep, dairy and pigs

Rhonda has delivered many talks over the years relating to her animal work and will be offering presentations on many subjects to the U CAN HATCH US programmes as requested.
